After 5 episodes of Abstract Music, looking and failing to define itself, floating in search of telling everything in one song, exploring the art of "Beatmaking" and have fun with pads and computers, now it's time to end this part of the research.
Anybody who's curious, is able now to have an idea of what can be Miqi O., at least if he's able to roll the mouse and to type my name on a search engine. Which is not an accomplishment in itself..
After that, I was stuck on a child thought, wondering how cool people whom i love the work should make sound that Miqi O. thing.
You know, i am a truly fan of that uncalled "beat movement", since the beginning... (i was the 30est guy to pass on Hudson Mohawke myspace page... just after Jay Scarlett !!! ... well, yes, i am lying... but i was truly close to that stupid non-interesting & un-bling-bling data !! ...)
In 2012 almost everybody is doing beats, but, as you can probably hear it, not everybody do that well.
So i asked some of my favorite Beatmakerz for a remix
and it results this simple proposition of 18 tracks from 18 artists that i really enjoy to support !!!
I hope that i will contribute to make you investigate their fantastic, interesting, loud, intense, futuristic music.
These are also 18 message of love, or at least interest for my music, and i am really touched to be support by all these guys.
Some of them already inspired me so much. Some does now. Some others will soon !!

Label : La Boocle
Mastered by Thomas Fournier
Artwork by Alice Dufay
Once again artwork is made by someone i have a lot of respect for.
Beside being a talented drawer she is also a figure in this Beat movement.
She designed already a lot of covers for beatmakers : Fulgeance, Elaquent, Jesse Futerman, Souleance... and that amazing fresh collage-cover of one of my favorite Ep ever : 1000Names, Worth making a noize about.. on Eklektik Records
But, to me, the main thing she has done is that Faceless collection for the "Beats And Faces" project lead by Fulgeance and her.
Most of the time after meeting and/or collaborating with them, she has drawed dozens of wonderful faceless portrait of most of all the interesant people from that scene in the last five years.
Dimlite, Hudson Mohawke, Debruit, Mike Slott, Dorian Concept, 1000Names, Mondayjazz, and many many more...
It's an interesting and original way to define a music scene, and i am very honored to be part of this.
She's also my friend and one of the best partner in crime to party !!!!
(Don't plan to stop early...)
So i am very Happy to make that collaboration happen and to "epilogue" with her work.
Go see her work right here :
